Commercial Surveyor | Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Surveyor to join a growing and entrepreneurial client-side land and property business based in Suffolk.

The business undertakes both direct and funded development, the promotion of strategic land, and joint ventures in renewable energy, while also managing an established mixed-use portfolio. The wider landholding exceeds 6,500 acres across Sussex and Suffolk, with activity spanning a broad range of asset classes, including residential, commercial, rural, and renewable energy.

Unlike a consultancy environment, this role offers the opportunity to work directly for the business owners, providing genuine exposure to:

  • Strategic decision-making
  • Value creation
  • The full development lifecycle from promotion through to planning consent and disposal

This role will involve working across strategic land promotion, development projects, and asset enhancement initiatives, playing a key role in delivering long-term value creation and sustainable growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
