Taylor Root have been instructed on an exciting new Commercial, Technology & Outsourcing Associate position within a Tier 1 practice known for delivering high‑quality, complex commercial and tech advisory work.
This is a genuinely standalone commercial practice that generates around 90% of its work independently, providing associates with exposure to a broad and varied workload.
The Work
You’ll advise on a diverse range of commercial and technology matters, with minimal due diligence and a strong emphasis on strategic, high‑value contracts. Typical work includes:
- Commercial contracts (primarily B2B): including warehousing and logistics, supply of goods and services, agency and distribution agreements, SaaS, system development, and long‑term commercial arrangements.
- Technology & outsourcing: IT and BPO outsourcing, software licensing, cloud services and digital transformation projects.
- Advertising & adtech matters as part of a growing area of the practice.

About you
The team is seeking someone who brings:
- 2–4 years’ PQE with strong commercial contracts experience gained in a respected commercial or tech practice.
- A genuine interest in working across a broad mix of matters and industry sectors.
- Intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness, and enthusiasm for contributing to client training, networking and wider business development.
