About The Role
As a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will take on advanced diagnostics, routine maintenance, and complex repairs to manufacturer standards. You’ll also support and guide colleagues, especially apprentices, helping to build a collaborative and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
- Perform engine and gearbox replacements as needed
- Support the workshop team with technical advice and coaching
- Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) and detailed safety inspections
- Complete all documentation in line with company and compliance requirements
- Source and order required parts efficiently
- Take part in manufacturer training and ongoing technical development
- Help maintain a clean, inclusive, and safety-conscious working environment

What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds who can demonstrate strong technical skills, a team-oriented approach, and a commitment to quality.
You Will Need
- A Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- Master/Diagnostic/Senior Technician accreditation (essential)
- Main dealer or manufacturer-approved workshop experience (preferred)
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent customer service skills and a team-first attitude
- Experience mentoring apprentices (desirable)
- MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
