Commercial Technology Lawyers – Axiom
We are currently seeking Commercial Technology Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom’s clients across a diverse selection of industries.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial technology agreements, including:
- SaaS agreements
- Software licensing agreements
- Cloud services agreements
- Technology development agreements
- Vendor agreements
- Data processing agreements
- Digital services contracts
- Advise on technology transactions and commercial contracting matters across:
- Software, platforms
- Digital products
- AI-enabled tools
- Cloud solutions
- Apps
- Emerging technologies
- Provide legal guidance on:
- Intellectual property
- Data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity
- AI and platform regulation
- Online services
- Broader technology regulatory matters
- Partner with product, engineering, procurement, sales, and business teams to support:
- Technology transactions
- Product launches
- Digital initiatives
- Go-to-market strategies
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in:
- Commercial technology
- Technology transactions
- Product counselling
- Data privacy
- Intellectual property
- Technology regulatory matters
- Previously gained in a law firm or in-house legal team
- Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating technology-related agreements, including:
- SaaS contracts
- Software licensing
- Cloud, vendor, and digital service agreements
- Data-related contracts
- Strong understanding of technology business models, such as:
- Software, SaaS
- Digital platforms
- Apps
- Cloud services
- AI tools
- Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice to:
- Commercial, product, engineering, sales, and procurement stakeholders
