Role Overview
As a Commercial Trading Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of commercial performance through data analysis, reporting, and insight generation. Working closely with the Commercial Trading team, you will provide analysis and recommendations that help identify trading opportunities, monitor performance, and support key business decisions. You will be responsible for producing regular trading reports, analysing performance trends, and helping the business understand the key drivers of revenue, margin, and customer demand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing and maintaining regular trading reports and dashboards.
- Supporting category trading through performance analysis and insight generation.
- Supporting trading reviews with data and recommendations.
- Assisting with portfolio categorisation and commercial performance tracking.
- Monitoring key commercial KPIs and escalating risks and opportunities.
- Working collaboratively across Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Revenue Management.
- Identifying reporting and process improvement opportunities.

What You’ll Have
- Experience in an analytical, commercial, trading, pricing, revenue management, or finance role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Tableau and Snowflake preferable
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and curious mindset.
