Key Responsibilities:
- Underwriting commercial insurance risks across a range of SME products, for clients from a range of sectors such as property owners, construction, retail, and manufacturing etc.
- Providing technical support to brokers and customers.
- Helping to maintain profitable growth through sound underwriting decisions.
- Underwriting new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, assessing the risks to make decisions within your authority.
- Ensuring that all work carried out is done so in a fashion that complies with both FCA regulations and in-house protocols.
Key Requirements:
- A sound understanding of Commercial Combined insurance.
- A willingness to develop your knowledge of other lines such as Professional Indemnity.
- Being tech-savvy and a real advocate of AI.
- Enjoying keeping abreast of the latest developments in the tech world.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
