Barrafina is a highly awarded Modern Spanish bar restaurant in London, serving the highest quality seasonal ingredients. Guests eat and drink on a beautiful marble-topped bar, watching the chefs at work. The front of house team works closely, creating an energetic and uniquely enjoyable service environment. Our chefs craft an authentic, daily-changing menu based on the freshest produce while hosting quarterly events like Barrafina Invita, showcasing exceptional talent from Spain and beyond.

The Commis Chef Role
Experience & Attitude
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant
- Passion for food and a desire to explore and master Spanish cuisine
- Unwavering standards: Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service at all times
Key Responsibilities
- Front-of-house engagement: Communicate clearly with teams and guests at the bar
- Represent the brand: Be the welcoming face of Harts Group, surpassing guest expectations through exceptional service and hospitality
- Culinary knowledge: Deep understanding of daily menus, seasonal produce, and allergens
- Uphold quality: Ensure consistently high-quality and delicious food and drink
- Team relay: Foster and demonstrate positive teamwork, mutual respect, and suitability cultural pride in Spanish food
