Your Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen
- Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of:
- Food quality
- Hygiene standards
- Follow the Head Chef’s example of excellence and efficiency
- Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times
- Support kitchen staff in observing appropriate hygiene systems during food preparation and storage
Requirements
- Previous experience working within hotels or a similar role
- A passion for – and genuine interest in – food
- Transferable skills as a team player
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations
