About the Role

Commis Chefs work collaboratively in a vibrant hospitality environment, welcoming international business travellers and leisure guests to London’s premier neighbourhood.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes across multiple culinary outlets, upholding consistency and precision
  • Support food preparation and service in:
    • The Montagu Kitchen
    • Events team
    • Room Service
    • Colleague Restaurant
    • Churchill Bar
  • Maintain rigorous food hygiene, health, and safety standards
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards diligently
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with rotation, and minimise waste
  • Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Demonstrate knowledge of seasonal ingredients, and contribute fresh ideas for innovation
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and cleansing of kitchen equipment
