About the Role
JW Steakhouse at Grosvenor House invites passionate culinary allies to our freshly renovated Park Lane venue. Celebrating over 90 years of luxury hospitality, this role offers an opportunity to learn from experts, craft seasonal menus, and excel in a team focused on culinary excellence and exceptional guest service.
Critical Requirement: All successful applicants must have the eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
As a Commis Chef at JW Steakhouse, you will:
- Prepare fresh ingredients using recipes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation guidelines
- Cook dishes and execute menu items efficiently to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure portions, garnishing, and temperatures meet high culinary standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, responsibly, and professionally
- Maintain sanitary surfaces and storage areas
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment while learning diverse culinary techniques
