Role Description
We are seeking a Commissioning & Contracts Support Officer who is passionate about improving outcomes for all residents of Bradford to join our People’s Commissioning and Contract Management team. This role is integral to Public Health and ensuring all contracts represent value for money.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the Commissioning and Contracts teams using a range of project management approaches to aid in the development, commissioning, mobilisation and monitoring of contracts across Bradford Council Public Health and Bradford Children’s & Family Trust (BCFT).
- To assist in the gathering, collation, analysis and presentation of performance quality and finance data to support the function of the commissioning and contract teams.
- Coordinate and undertake commissioning and contract management tasks as part of a project task group. Working closely with colleagues across Public Health, Children’s Services and in other departments to ensure the development, establishment and sustainability of good quality service provision.

Core Requirements
Experience:
- Analysing information for meaning, quality and implication and drafting reports on contract performance.
Skills:
- Understanding of commissioning and performance monitoring, problem-solving, and partnership working.
Attributes:
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work collaboratively and independently to solve problems and find solutions.
