Where you’ll be working?
BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What you'll be doing?
- You'll work closely with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) team, project teams and leadership stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
- You'll support the delivery of MEICA commissioning activities, ensuring work is completed in line with agreed timescales, budgets and quality requirements while working alongside the MEICA Commissioning Manager and wider team.
- You'll collaborate with planning teams to develop commissioning programmes that align with overall project schedules and key delivery milestones.
- You'll be responsible for producing project-specific Commissioning Plans that support each phase of project delivery.
- You'll maintain and manage comprehensive commissioning diaries for each site, providing regular updates and reports to key stakeholders.
- You'll oversee subcontract labour on site, ensuring safe systems of work are in place and that all documentation is checked and reviewed for compliance.

What you'll bring?
This role will incur travel throughout Scotland including the Highlands and Islands.
Do you have the technical qualifications required to perform the role of a MEICA Commissioning Engineer?
- Do you hold a minimum ONC technical qualification?
- Do you have experience working with Profibus systems?
- Do you have a full understanding of WIMES standards?
- Do you have experience in Instrumentation, Controls and Automation?
- Do you have an understanding of SW telemetry systems?
