Armstrong Fluid Technology is more than just a leader in our industry; we are a community of the brightest and most creative minds, driven by a shared mission to engineer the future and safeguard our planet.

As part of our team, you'll be immersed in an environment that fosters growth, creativity, and collaboration. Every day offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a more sustainable future, driving innovations that help lower global carbon footprints. Together, we’re creating a legacy that goes beyond business—one that’s changing the world for the better.

The Commissioning Engineer plays a key hands-on role in the testing, verification, and commissioning of Armstrong’s packaged plant rooms (PPRs) and modular systems for HVAC and Data Centre applications. Working under the guidance of the Commissioning Manager, the Engineer ensures systems are tested, commissioned, and documented to Armstrong and client standards through all phases of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

This is a customer-facing role requiring strong electrical competence, sound mechanical understanding, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure smooth integration and successful project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
