Commissioning Engineer - Life Sciences - 12 months - Surrey, UK

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer for a fantastic 12-month contract based in Surrey.

You will be working with our client who are a global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease.

What You’ll Do

  • Adhere to Commissioning Strategy, Commissioning Plan, and Master Commissioning Schedule.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple building systems.
  • Ensure installation quality is suitable for commissioning start-up (“commissioning ready” checks).
  • Ensure commissioning documentation is produced, reviewed, and approved.

  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer on complex construction projects.
  • Experience delivering commissioning for laboratories, R&D facilities, or highly serviced technical environments.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, MEP design, automation controls, and specialist lab systems.
  • Degree/HND in engineering, building services, or related field.
