BMS Commissioning Engineer
📍 Location: North Acton, London (Single Data Centre Site) 💰 Rate: £35.00 – £45.00 per hour (dependent on experience) ⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Overtime and occasional weekend work available)
Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a leading Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to work on a major data centre project based in North Acton. This is a site-based role on a single, high-profile project, providing long-term work running until mid-next year.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS), carrying out testing, fault-finding, and software configuration. Working closely with project teams, you’ll ensure systems are delivered safely and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Commission Building Management Systems.
- Conduct testing, fault-finding, and diagnostics.
- Configure BMS software platforms.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet project timelines and specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer.
- Proven experience commissioning commercial BMS systems.
- Strong knowledge of Trend, Schneider, Tridium, Johnson Controls Metasys or similar platforms.
- Experience working with HVAC systems and live control systems.
- ECS/CSCS card (required).
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
