What will you be doing?
As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our systems are installed, tested and delivered to the highest standard before handover to our customers.
This is a hands-on, site-based role based in Cowes, Isle of White. It will include regular UK and international travel to customer sites.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Commissioning, testing and final acceptance of monitoring systems both in-house and on site
- Configuring hardware and software, including sensors and data acquisition systems
- Calibrating and validating load, strain and structural monitoring equipment
- Fault-finding and resolving technical issues during commissioning
- Producing commissioning documentation, reports and handover packs
- Supporting installation activities alongside engineering and project teams
- Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and customer requirements
- Representing Strainstall professionally on customer sites

As Part Of Our Team, You Will Get
- Salary from £35,000 per annum depending on experience, with opportunity to earn up to £60,000

To join our team, you will need:
- An Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent experience)
- An Electrical background
- An understanding of industrial electronics or automation
- To be comfortable and able to work at heights and in confined spaces when needed
- Good communication skills
- To be comfortable working independently
