£45,000 - £50,000 DOE + Company Van + Fuel Card + Healthcare
Are you an experienced Security Systems/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing business working on high-profile residential and commercial projects across London and the Southeast?
We are a long-standing family-run business specialising in Security, Fire, Door Entry, Access Control and Data System solutions for high-rise developments, new builds and occupied residential sites. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer to join our commissioning team.
This is a field-based role offering excellent long-term stability, varied projects, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with leading security technologies and manufacturers.

What you will be doing as a Commissioning Engineer:
- Commissioning and configuring door entry, access control and integrated security systems
- Testing, fault finding and troubleshooting systems to ensure optimal performance
- Working with installation teams, project managers and clients during project delivery
- Carrying out system handovers and client training
- Providing technical support both remotely and on-site when required
- Ensuring systems meet client specifications and industry standards
- Completing commissioning records and documentation accurately
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

You will ideally have experience working with some of the following:
- Door Entry Systems (Audio & Video Intercoms)
- Access Control Systems
- IP-based Security Systems
- CCTV Systems
- Integrated Life Safety Systems

What we are looking for to be our Commissioning Engineer:
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the security systems industry
- Strong experience with access control and door entry systems
- Good understanding of IP networking and structured cabling
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with CCTV, intruder systems or fire alarms, life safety is essential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Field-based across London and the Southeast with occasional visits to the Northolt office.
