Hiring a Commissioning Engineer – Telecom Networks based out of Glasgow, Scotland (Onsite – 5 Days/Week) for a global IT service provider. (Full UK Driving Licence Mandatory)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a telecom infrastructure delivery team supporting enterprise and critical infrastructure networks.
You will be responsible for configuring, commissioning, testing, and supporting Cisco-based enterprise networks while working alongside project and field engineering teams to deliver high-quality network implementations.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and commission Cisco routers, switches, and enterprise network equipment.
- Perform implementation, integration, and testing of telecom circuits.
- Prepare and execute configuration scripts for network devices.
- Monitor network performance during implementation activities.
- Review implementation plans and support Project Engineers.
- Conduct network testing and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and commissioning records.
- Support project delivery and customer acceptance testing.
