About the Role
We are seeking talented, technical, and innovative individuals with a passion for engineering to join our team in the Southwest and Wales region.

Your Mission
** Commisioning Specialist** is responsible for the following core tasks:
- Incorporating software, graphics, installation, and commissioning of building management control systems into customer orders, integrating third-party systems where needed.
- Pre-commissioning control panels and field devices onto new and existing systems.
- Commissioning controllers, networks, and field devices into complete control systems.
- Writing and commissioning controller software in the Function Block Editor.
- Configuring and developing end-user graphics to visualise building control systems.
- Documenting commissioning progress, preparing site reports, and contributing to Operations and Maintenance manuals.
- Handover and demonstration of completed systems to customers and consultants.
- Managing installations and sub-contractors in collaboration with project managers.
- Supporting Schneider Electric and client support teams on both new and existing projects.

Responsibilities
- Establish servers and workstations on-site, loading required software and licenses.
- Configure and integrate BMS systems with third-party solutions.
- Develop and write commissioning reports, ensuring meticulous documentation of progress.
- Encourage and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, fostering a trusted consultative approach across various automation engagements.

Requirements
Experience & Technical Skills
- Background in electrical engineering or a related engineering field is highly preferred.
- On-site commissioning experience is advantageous, though on-job training will be provided where necessary.
- Knowledge of BMS software and developing end-user graphics is beneficial, but specific training will also be given.
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxture product or legacy systems (Sigma, Vista, or Continuum) would be advantageous.
- Exposure to an HVAC controls, BCIA, or CIBSE certification is a strong plus.
- Fluid communication in English (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a customer-focused environment.
Certifications
- Full UK driving license.
Soft Skills
- High interest in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
- Technical aptitude for Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
