Commissioning Engineer Opportunity in Surrey
A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their team in the Surrey area. As the Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all systems within their new facilities are fully operational and compliant.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties as the Commissioning Engineer will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and Adhere to Commissioning Strategy, Plan, and Master Schedule: Ensuring all commissioning activities are integrated effectively with construction and validation processes.
- Lead Commissioning Meetings and Workshops: Coordinating activities across multiple building systems including MEP, BMS/EMS, and specialist lab systems with contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.
- Ensure Commissioning Documentation: Producing, reviewing, and approving documentation, verifying that system performance meets design intent and user requirements.
- Oversee the Final Acceptance Process: Ensuring all commissioning deliverables meet project requirements and support post-occupancy reviews during early operations.

Role Requirements:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Commissioning Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant Degree: In engineering, building services, or a related field.
- Proven Industry Experience: In commissioning complex construction projects, particularly laboratories or R&D facilities.
- Working Knowledge and Practical Experience: With MEP systems, building automation controls, and specialist lab systems.
