The Commissioning Manager

The Commissioning Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of Commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, and integrated systems on large-scale Data Centre projects. This role is ideal for someone early in their Commissioning or technical project delivery career who wants structured development, exposure to complex environments, and the opportunity to grow into a full Commissioning Manager role.

You’ll work alongside experienced Cx Managers, BMS specialists, and project delivery leads, learning how to manage risk, drive quality, and ensure systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and ready for Day-1 operation.

Key Responsibilities

Commissioning Support

  • Assist in the development of Commissioning plans, scripts, and schedules.
  • Support the coordination of Commissioning activities with contractors, vendors, and client teams.
  • Track progress against commissioning milestones and report updates to senior Cx managers.
  • Participate in witnessing, testing, and verification of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
  • Help maintain commissioning documentation, logs, and quality records.

Quality & Technical Assurance

  • Support QA/QC checks on installed systems, ensuring compliance with design, standards, and project requirements.
  • Assist in identifying defects, tracking close-out actions, and ensuring corrective measures are completed.
  • Contribute to risk reviews, method statement reviews, and technical assessments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
