An exciting opportunity to work with the NHS Kent and Medway committee’s team during a period of change within the NHS.

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Committees Officer to assist in the provision of end-to-end support for Board, Committees and Sub-Group meetings. They will need to demonstrate high standards of governance and strong administration and digital skills, proven minute taking skills in formal settings, and timely publication of papers and actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full administration and co-ordination for the NHS Kent and Medway Board, Committee, and Sub-Group meetings.
  • Support the Head of Corporate Governance, Committees Manager, and Company Secretary, in ensuring the NHS Kent and Medway Board and its committees and sub-Groups operate in accordance with their Terms of Reference, ICB Constitution, Scheme of Reservation and Delegation, Standing Financial Instructions, legislation, and the UK Corporate Governance Code.
  • Together with the Head of Corporate Governance and Committees Manager, be responsible for forward agenda planning, identifying priorities within the ICB’s business and highlighting key issues for discussion and decision.
  • Responsible for taking formal, accurate and timely minutes of Board, Committee and Sub-Group meetings and ensuring all approved minutes of meetings in public are made available to the public on the website.
  • Follow up on actions arising from Board, Committee and Sub-Group meetings.
  • Respond to queries received in the Committees team inbox.
