About the Role
Our client, a leading global commodities firm, is looking for a Commodities Trade Support Specialist to join their growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic trading environment, supporting Portfolio Managers and key business functions across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily trade, cash, and position controls across a range of commodity products
- Acting as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving queries efficiently
- Partnering with Portfolio Managers and internal teams to enhance processes and improve operational workflows
- Investigating and resolving trade breaks, ensuring timely reconciliation and issue resolution
- Identifying operational risks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes

Requirements
- Proven experience working with commodity products and understanding of trade lifecycle processes
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail when handling trade and PnL queries
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
