Who you are

  • You have 5+ years’ experience at a comms agency, in an in-house comms role, or as a top-tier journalist
  • You possess extremely high attention to detail and extraordinary writing abilities
  • You are obsessed with the written word and have exceptional judgement when it comes to grammar and tone of voice
  • You love pitching to journalists and getting wins through outreach
  • You know how to select the perfect image to make content come alive
  • You’re insatiably curious about the world and what makes it tick
  • You have a very high EQ, allowing you to put yourself in the shoes of any reader, viewer, or listener
  • You combine a love of data with a flair for driving new, creative content or PR initiatives

What the job involves

We're looking for someone to own our content, social media, and PR, grow what’s working, and figure out what else we should do to build the defining media voice for innovative healthcare. You’ll have access to stories, companies, technologies, and experts at the cutting edge of regulated AI medical devices and get to shape how a critically important global industry is understood.

  • Work hands-on to own and grow Scarlet’s content offering: creating stories with amazing customers, editing blogs written by world-leading expert teammates, and more, all to a world-class standard
  • Own and grow Scarlet’s social media presence, producing a consistent daily cadence of exceptional LinkedIn content
  • Develop and execute original content and communications ideas that elevate our brand and allow us to tell the most important stories in healthcare
  • Earn and arrange coverage for Scarlet in relevant press, from specialist publications to the biggest names in media
  • Book, arrange, and organise speaking gigs for Scarlet teammates at conferences across the globe and on specialist webinars
  • Collaborate closely with fellow members of the Commercial teams (Growth and Sales) to understand their communications needs, such that Scarlet can grow its brand, and create and close more deals
