For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Milan or Manchester a dynamic and motivated Communication & Exhibition Specialist.

Main Tasks

Communication & Content

Manage content for ESS social media, press releases. Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging with business goals.

Coordinate, and execute trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events. Manage logistics including booth design, materials, vendors, and budgets when required. Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and suppliers when needed under the umbrella of the Sécheron Hasler Group (SHG) Marketing Team. Oversee on-site event execution and ensure smooth operations.

Branding & Marketing Support

Develop promotional materials (presentations, digital assets, etc). Support product launches and campaigns through event and communication strategies.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables for communication and exhibition projects. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders. Evaluate event and communication performance through KPIs and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. Further education (Master) appreciated. At least 3–5 years of experience in B2B mechanical/electrical engineering international communications (this includes: event management, or exhibitions). Sectors of experience would have to be Rail, Energy, Mining or any electro-mechanical industry. Experience organizing trade shows or large-scale events. Excellent project management and organizational abilities. Proficiency in digital tools (CMS, social media platforms, etc.). Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Availability to travel, up to 10% yearly. Languages: English - proficient; German/French - desirable.
