Communication & Social Media Coordinator - London

Communication & Social Media Coordinator Job summary The purpose of the job is to design, manage and implement the communication strategy for the London School’s online and off line creative campaigns and social media activities in line with the Group’s Corporate Identity standards and guidelines. The role will consist of collaborative working within the London School and external agencies to create and publish innovative marketing projects related to brand communications, sales, events, promotional materials. Key purpose of the role Support the implementation of brand compliance across all School communication activities, ensuring consistency with the brand’s tone of voice and guidelines. Coordinate internal and external communication projects in line with the company’s strategy, supporting timelines, deliverables and day‑to‑day liaison with suppliers and agencies. Support the execution and coordination of off‑line and on‑line communication activities to enhance brand visibility, ensuring alignment between channels. Act as a key point of contact between the School and HQ for the promotion of local initiatives on corporate social media channels, supporting content sharing and alignment. Collect, organise and contribute to the production of engaging content (images, videos, interviews) to support local social media channels, including Instagram. Support the monitoring and implementation of social media campaigns, contributing to target setting and performance tracking in line with School and Group objectives. Coordinate day‑to‑day management of Istituto Marangoni London’s social media activities (organic and paid), supporting competitiveness within an international context. Support the update and maintenance of the School’s website in line with UK requirements, assisting with content updates and basic competitor benchmarking. Maintain and organise the School’s creative content archive, supporting the collection and development of new visual and editorial materials for communication purposes. Facilitate the dissemination of approved creative content to internal stakeholders, agencies, representative offices and information centres. Support the tracking and reporting of ROI for promotional events and campaigns, contributing to the optimisation of combined off‑line and on‑line activities. Assist in ensuring smooth administrative and operational processes related to communications, marketing and events (POs, invoices, contracts, campaign reports). Collaborate cross‑functionally to support the organisation and delivery of key institutional events, such as the annual IML Fashion Show. Support the Sales and Recruitment teams with communication activities aimed at lead generation in both domestic and international markets. Education and desirable skills Degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media or related. At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in international environments. Previous experience within education, luxury, fashion or design environments is an advantage. Excellent knowledge of the English language. Italian is beneficial but not essential. Good knowledge of the main social platforms and related management tools. Analytical skills and ability to read data and KPIs. Creativity, precision and strong details orientation projects independently. Interest in the world of design, creativity and education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
