Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Voice Communications & Trading Technology Analyst to support and enhance our voice infrastructure within a regulated trading environment. This role requires a strong telephony background, expertise in voice technologies, and an understanding of compliance-driven recording solutions used across financial services.

Responsibilities

Role specific:

  • Deploy, manage, and support Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) solutions across the enterprise voice estate.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
  • Administer and support Cisco Webex Calling and Webex Control Hub environments.
  • Manage and maintain voice recording platforms, ensuring reliable recording and retention of communications.
  • Support compliance requirements by understanding and implementing communication recording obligations within regulated environments.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to trading floor users, including traders and brokers.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of cloud-based telephony solutions.
  • Support mobile communication recording technologies and associated compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, compliance, and business teams to deliver voice and recording solutions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, incident resolution, system upgrades, and platform optimisation.

Competencies, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience deploying and managing SIP-based voice solutions.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Experience administering Cisco Webex and Webex Control Hub.
  • Background in enterprise telephony and voice communications.
  • Experience with cloud telephony platforms and modern voice technologies.
  • Knowledge of voice recording solutions and the regulatory requirements surrounding recorded communications.
  • Understanding of WhatsApp recording and capture solutions within regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting communications within a trading or financial services environment.
  • Understanding of trade voice systems and associated technologies.
  • Experience working directly with traders, brokers, and front-office teams.
  • Familiarity with mobile voice recording solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within highly regulated financial institutions.
  • Exposure to voice compliance technologies and surveillance solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new technical capabilities.
