We're looking for a creative, organised and culturally curious Comms & Content Lead to lead communications across the HemingwayDesign studio and our growing portfolio of events, festivals and social impact projects.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating brilliant content, telling compelling stories and building engaged audiences. One day you could be filming behind-the-scenes content at an event, the next launching a new campaign, designing a webpage, writing a press release or analysing performance to shape what's next.
You'll lead communications for HemingwayDesign, Curated by HD, Classic Car Boot Sale and work closely with the dedicated team behind Charity Super.Mkt — one of the UK's most exciting sustainable retail concepts.
If you're passionate about design, culture, sustainability and creating work that makes a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.

- Develop and deliver integrated communications and marketing campaigns from concept through to evaluation.
- Set campaign objectives, monitor performance and continually optimise activity.
- Build engaged online communities and grow audiences across multiple platforms.
Social media & content
- Own and manage our social media channels, creating distinctive, engaging content tailored to different audiences.
- Produce and commission short-form video, photography and graphic content for social platforms.
- Manage the HemingwayDesign and Wayne Hemingway LinkedIn presence.
- Stay ahead of trends, identifying new opportunities, formats and ideas.
- Respond to comments and community engagement across channels.
Digital marketing
- Plan and deliver cross-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, attendance and engagement.
- Manage paid digital campaigns across Meta and other platforms.
- Maintain and develop websites using platforms such as Framer, Squarespace or Wix (basic web design skills essential).
- Manage email marketing and audience databases in line with GDPR.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
