Communications Assistant
Our client, a leading investment firm in Central London, is looking for a Communications Assistant to join their communications team on a hybrid working basis.
About the Role
As Communications Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of engaging and consistent communications across the firm both internally and externally (US & Europe).
This is a hands-on role suited to a strong writer with excellent judgement, an interest in the investment industry, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Editorial
- Draft, edit, and proofread written content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet updates, digital signage, and other platforms
- Produce and maintain content for external platforms, including corporate websites and social media channels
- Support the development of consistent tone, messaging, and style across all communications materials
- Assist with content planning and editorial calendars

Events & Executive Support
- Support the organization and delivery of internal and external events, receptions, and conferences
- Support, by assisting the Communications team with research, in the drafting of briefings, speeches, talking points, and scripts for senior executives
- Prepare background notes, briefing packs, and Q&A documents for events and meetings
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure communications elements are delivered on time
Coordination & Administration
- Assist with approvals processes, version control, and document management
- Maintain communications archives and content libraries
- Monitor media, social media, and internal channels for relevant coverage or updates, as required
- Provide general administrative support to the communications function

Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field useful
- An interest in financial services, investment firms, or professional services
- Interest in corporate storytelling and brand management
- Confidence in working with senior stakeholders
- University Degree education would be preferred
