Hiring Unit: School of Human Nutrition
Position Summary: The student event organizer will support the coordination and logistics of the CINE Student Symposium. This role is ideal for a CINE student interested in communications, event planning, and community-based research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with event promotion and logistics
- Coordinate student registration
- Support volunteer coordination before and during the event
- Obtain McGill Sustainable Events certification
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
- High School Diploma required.
- Be a CINE student/trainee or involved in CINE activities
- Strong interest in Indigenous Peoples’ food systems and participatory research
- Strong communication skills and experience with event planning or student engagement or community outreach.
