Location: Edinburgh

Description
We’re looking for someone who can’t stop thinking of ideas to join our creative team. We make advertising that people actually notice. Sometimes that's a social campaign. Sometimes it's a stunt. Sometimes it's a poster. Sometimes it's something nobody has tried before (like sending a tax submission from space).
If you love the thrill of advertising and want to bring fresh, un-boring concepts to life across every media channel imaginable, we would love to chat.
The Role
We're hiring for ideas first.
In this role, you won't just be formatting templates or pushing pixels - you’ll be a conceptual engine. You’ll spend your time thinking about hooks, angles, and stories that stop people from scrolling, whether that’s on paid social, digital platforms, or a direct mail piece arriving on a doorstep.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coming up with the big idea: Developing multi-channel marketing campaigns from a blank page to final delivery.
- Thinking ad-first: Obsessing over what makes a piece of communication work - focusing on the hook, the visual joke, the headline, and how it fits the platform.
- Shaping the narrative: Partnering with copywriters to make sure the visual concept and the words marry together perfectly.
- Making stuff: Bringing your ideas to life across paid social, eye-catching print, event branding, and digital content.
- Championing the brand: Collaborating with the wider team to champion, protect, and evolve our brand identity.
You 🙌
We're not looking for a checklist of qualifications. We’re looking for someone with the right set of skills.
You might:
- Have a massive folder of screenshots of ads you've saved because they're brilliant.
- Get genuinely annoyed when brands explain instead of entertain.
- Be the person who sends your mates ‘look at this campaign’ messages at 11pm
- Be a junior designer ready for a bigger stage. You might be an agency creative looking for something different. You might not even call yourself an Art Director yet. You don't need twenty years' experience, but you do need curiosity, taste, and the confidence to put your ideas into the room.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
