Role: Communications Executive
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Location: London - Hybrid (3 days in office per week)
Role overview
The purpose of this role is to own key communication channels including our intranet and social media accounts, as well as supporting the Head of Communications with internal and external communications planning and execution. This role requires a strategic, creative and articulate person with a high attention to detail and a passion for bringing people together. This role has a huge scope for expansion as the team grows.
Job responsibilities
- Own communication channels including The Lounge (our Intranet) and TVX Life social media, collating and creating engaging and meaningful content
- Design, development and execution of content strategy across these channels
- Research and develop annual content calendar
- Engage with leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs) to generate compelling stories from across our business and share these stories on our intranet and externally on social channels where relevant
- Daily monitoring of channels and mailboxes including The Lounge mailbox and managing security groups
- Work with content area owners to ensure information on our intranet is accurate and up to date, upskilling them along the way
- Monitor and drive engagement via these channels
- Understanding what type of content our colleagues and potential candidates engage with e.g., videos, infographics, articles etc. and thinking of new ways to increase engagement
- Creating engaging and accessible content for our different colleague types
- Monitoring colleague sentiment via blogs and comments and flagging with HR and line managers where required
- Monitoring and flagging any breach of the Global Social Media Standard or The Lounge House Rules
- Manage comments on social media and provide constructive/ professional responses
- Optimisation of channels using analytics to make data driven decisions
- Working on ways to continuously improve our intranet including software upgrades and new feature deployments
- Consolidation of communication tools and education of use e.g. how to guides and training
- Owning reporting across channels to understand engagement
- Work with the Head of Communications to support the delivery of internal and external communications across channels including key strategic projects, DE&I initiatives and press activity
- Advisory and execution of internal comms campaigns including key strategic projects – driving accountability with SMEs
- Support the Head of Communications to deliver roadshows and town halls
- Re-establish the communications network, setting up regular meetings and ensuring there is a global view of internal communications
- Own communications policies including the Global Social Media Standard and The Lounge House Rules

Valued skills
- A solid background in communications having held similar roles previously
- A good communicator (verbal and written) – clear, articulate, and able to adapt your communication style to suit the audience and occasion
- A wordsmith – since a large part of this role is writing, we’re looking for someone who writes with flair, personality, and accuracy
- A great eye for detail and for thinking outside the box
- Someone who removes jargon and ambiguity from content and information to deliver a clear and effective message
- Confident and the ability to work under pressure
- A good juggler – adept at managing several activities at once whilst still prioritising effectively and delivering on time
- Experience using design programs and video editing software such as Canva
