Communications Insights and Measurements Analyst, DeepMind

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience working in a communications or marketing data and insights role, with research experience and methodologies.

Preferred qualifications:

Extensive experience working with Google Analytics, Brandwatch (social listening), Google Search Console, YouTube Analytics, Looker Studio for dashboarding, and PR/Comms reporting tools (such as NewsWhip). Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to combine, interpret, and synthesize high volumes of complex data from a variety of sources. Excellent spoken, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data and trends into insightful commentary, practical recommendations, and compelling stories. Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the confidence to collaborate with and advise a range of stakeholders in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive landscape analysis, define and analyse key audience segments, and execute qualitative and quantitative research to optimize communications strategy. Monitor media, social and engaged landscapes to track emerging themes, key voices, and campaign impact during critical moments. Establish success metrics, benchmarks, and KPIs to accurately measure performance and organizational impact. Build and maintain live, self-serve dashboards and a central repository, empowering stakeholders with real-time data access. Analyse website user behaviour to understand key user journeys, performance metrics, and to deliver tailored monthly performance presentations to cross-functional partners.
