You’ll support a variety of communications activities, working alongside experienced professionals to help deliver engaging and effective communications across the Council. From drafting social media content, press releases, and internal communications to supporting campaigns, events, and digital content creation, no two days will be the same. You’ll also help monitor media coverage, support the production of newsletters and briefings, and build relationships with colleagues across the organization to help showcase the positive work taking place across West Northamptonshire.

This role will give you the opportunity to gain practical experience across multiple communication channels while developing a broad understanding of how communications supports a large and complex organization.

You’re enthusiastic, creative, and keen to build a career in communications. You enjoy writing, have a good eye for detail, and are confident communicating with a wide range of people.
