A leading financial services membership organisation is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to play a central role in shaping how it engages with members, partners, sponsors, and the wider industry.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and growing organisation within the financial services or professional services sector, offering a varied role with genuine influence, autonomy, and long-term development opportunities.
The Role
A broad, highly visible role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic communications, content strategy, stakeholder management, project management, and team leadership in a fast-moving, commercially focused environment. Working closely with the Head of Communications & Advocacy, you will help deliver the organisation’s communications strategy, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and engaging across all channels. You will also manage and develop a small communications team, driving collaboration, creativity, and high standards across output.

You will oversee a wide range of communications activities, including:
- Membership communications
- Editorial content
- Digital channels
- Publications
- Sponsorship messaging
- Event communications
You’ll manage the editorial calendar, support key organisational campaigns, and ensure members remain informed, engaged, and connected to industry developments.
Alongside communications delivery, the role also has a commercial element, supporting advertising and sponsorship revenue generation across publications, events, and wider organisational activity. You’ll manage partner relationships, oversee budgets, and ensure all deliverables are executed to a high standard.
About You
- Previous experience within communications, PR, marketing, or membership environments.
- Excellent writing and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, commercially aware, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confident advising on communications opportunities and challenges and experienced in managing people.
- Experience overseeing content production across digital channels including LinkedIn and website content.
- A strong eye for detail, branding, and visual presentation.

- Salary of £60,000–£70,000
