Prime Video is seeking a talented, experienced, and driven Communications Manager to join the UK Comms team.
The successful candidate will be a multi-disciplinary communications professional who operates confidently across corporate storytelling, content publicity, and consumer brand PR. We're looking for a modern comms professional who is as comfortable crafting a corporate narrative as they are landing a headline for a blockbuster series.
Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows, movies, and live sports, all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. We offer customers thousands of popular movies and TV shows from Originals and Exclusive content to exciting live sports events, including Premier League football and UEFA Champions League. We also offer our members the opportunity to subscribe to add-on channels, which they can cancel at any time, and to rent or buy new release movies and TV box sets on the Prime Video Store. Prime Video is a fast-paced, growth business available in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development of Prime Video UK's corporate communications strategy, shaping the overarching brand narrative across business milestones, leadership moments, and company priorities
- Act as a strategic communications advisor to senior leadership, crafting compelling corporate storylines that reinforce Prime Video's position as a trusted, market-leading entertainment brand
- Development and implementation of integrated content publicity strategies and campaigns for Original series, exclusive titles, and first-run programming, including unit publicity
- Development and implementation of creative concepts for premieres, launch events, and talent moments, including press junkets, set visits, screenings, and digital-first activations
- Drive consumer brand PR initiatives that strengthen Prime Video's identity in the UK market, building cultural relevance and share of voice across lifestyle, entertainment, and mainstream media
- Strategic media relations across traditional, digital, and creator/influencer channels, in conjunction with the Amazon UK communications department
- Building and maintaining a diverse network of media contacts spanning broadcast, print, online, podcasts, and social-first platforms
- Leveraging data and insights to inform campaign strategy, measure impact, and optimize communications approaches across all four pillars
- Management of supporting comms agency/agencies, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and value for investment
- Budget management, reporting, and cost-efficiency planning
- Close collaboration with fellow communications professionals across Europe and worldwide, as well as international colleagues from Amazon MGM Studios
- Cross-functional partnership with marketing, social media, marketing, and events teams to deliver unified campaigns
- Management of senior Amazon stakeholders, providing strategic counsel and clear communications recommendations
- Staying ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and the evolving role of AI in communications to identify new opportunities

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in professional communications or public relations
- Significant experience in professional communications across multiple disciplines — including corporate communications, brand PR, content/entertainment publicity
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-impact, integrated communications campaigns that drive measurable results
- Strong media relations skills across traditional, digital, and creator/influencer channels
- Demonstrated ability to develop and protect corporate narratives, with experience advising senior leadership on communications strategy
- Experience managing external agencies and budgets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience spanning entertainment/content publicity, consumer brand PR, corporate communications, and sports communications
- Demonstrable understanding of the UK media landscape, including digital, social, and creator ecosystems
- Experience with data-driven communications planning and measurement across multiple campaign types
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in modern communications workflows
- Experience working across a four-pillar or integrated communications function within a media, technology, or entertainment organization
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global matrix organization
- A genuine passion for TV and popular culture
