About the Role
At Forestry England, we are foresters, professionals, and woodland experts—passionate about improving lives and environments through our forests. We are building a sustainable future by preserving biodiversity, creating preventative healthcare through green space, and maintaining timber production.
We’re seeking a talented Communications Officer to join our Brand and Engagement team, helping to amplify our story, mobilise partnerships (including Forest Holidays), and deliver inspiring campaigns to connect people with our forests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and distribute high-quality, consistent messaging across multiple stakeholder groups
- Advance Forestry England’s brand and commit to fostering authentic relationships with audiences
- Coordinate communications activities tied to Forest Holidays site developments and campaigns
- Contribute to wider corporate priorities, ensuring successful delivery of cross-channel output
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners (e.g., road wardens, NGOs, volunteer groups)

We’re looking for someone who can embed our organisation’s tone of voice and brand guidelines naturefully while delivering engaging and targeted communications.
Location & Flexibility
This role supports remote/hybrid working, with frequent business travel to sites nationwide including temporary overnight stays and collaboration visits to our Bristol head office.
