We're looking for a Communications & PR Manager to join AEG International's Communications team.

Based mainly at The O2, you'll manage day-to-day PR and media activity across the arena, Outlet Shopping at The O2, Up at The O2 and the wider entertainment district. You'll help tell the stories behind one of the UK's most visited entertainment destinations, securing media coverage, building strong relationships and supporting campaigns that raise awareness and celebrate success.

You'll also support wider storytelling across AEG International, showcasing our venues, partnerships, people and future plans.

What you’ll be doing

Media Relations & Press Office

  • Be the main media contact for The O2 and its associated businesses, managing press enquiries and media activity.
  • Build strong relationships with journalists, broadcasters, influencers and external agencies.
  • Secure media coverage across consumer, business, trade and regional media, while monitoring and reporting on results

Campaigns & Storytelling

  • Deliver PR campaigns that promote The O2, Outlet Shopping at The O2, Up at The O2 and the wider entertainment district.
  • Identify and develop stories that showcase The O2's impact, events, partnerships and achievements.
  • Create press releases, statements, media materials and content that generate interest and coverage

Corporate Communications

  • Support wider communications activity across AEG International, including business updates and major announcements.
  • Work with teams across the business to identify media opportunities and share newsworthy stories.
  • Help grow The O2's LinkedIn presence through engaging and relevant content.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in PR, communications or media relations.
  • Good knowledge of the UK media landscape.
  • A track record of securing media coverage and building strong relationships.
  • Experience writing press releases and other communications materials.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.
  • Able to work well with people at all levels.
  • A creative, practical and proactive approach

Where:

You’ll be based at The O2 in North Greenwich but will also need to work 1 day a week at our head office in Blackfriars, a short walk from Southwark tube station and Blackfriars rail station. We offer flexible start and end times and currently work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely. We welcome flexible working conversations.
