About the Role
As a Communities Officer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the Crisis and Resilience Fund, supporting individuals and communities to build financial resilience. This involves connecting people to essential services, coordinating with partners, and ensuring sustainable long-term support.
This role is hybrid-based, with a requirement to work at County Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays to aid collaboration within the Communities Service.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Provide critical support for the delivery of the Crisis and Resilience Fund.
- Identify gaps in service provision and explore collaborative opportunities to improve community welfare.
- Connect individuals to the appropriate welfare services and support networks.
- Produce and report on evaluations, including data analysis, outcomes, and feedback, to enhance service delivery.
- Work closely with partners (NCC, NHS, local districts) to reduce reliance on crisis support over time.

Additional Information
This position is multi-fill, with applications welcomed from existing staff (secondment available with line manager approval).
