About the Role
We are looking for someone keen to get into coaching within a community cricket environment. The role will involve assisting and coaching at our community projects
As a Community Activator Coach Apprentice you will:
- Assist and coach at sessions run by ECiC
- Develop positive relationships with participants at sessions
- Help plan and promote sessions and programmes within ECiC
- Establish, maintain, and develop effective partnership working with stakeholders including relevant external agencies and organisations
- Complete monitoring, evaluation, and session recordings using internal and external systems
- Attend all scheduled supervision, meetings, and training events
- Undertake professional development by participating in staff development (CPD) and training activities
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager / organisation

Alongside these responsibilities, you'll also be working towards your Community Activator Coach L2 qualification over the duration of 15 months.

Additional Information
The role will involve a certain amount of travel as the sessions can be anywhere in Essex. Where possible we will try to keep them local to the applicant. Travel costs will be reimbursed. The ability to drive and access to a car would be helpful but not a necessity.
No prior knowledge of cricket is needed, just a passion for sport and a willingness to learn.
