An exciting opportunity has arisen
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered mental health nurse to work within the Argyll and Bute Addiction Team based in Cowal.
- You will be a member of an integrated health and social care team and as such have links to the wider multi disciplinary team.
- You should possess sound clinical knowledge and be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills - including the ability to offer interventions and deliver safe, effective care to a diverse client population.
- You will be required to carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate recovery plans.
- You will manage your own caseload and provide support to the local GP practices in their shared care clinics for opioid replacement therapy.
- The post requires you to work as part of the wider multi disciplinary team. You should possess good interpersonal skills and have a commitment to partnership working.
- Significant post registration experience is required as well as relevant experience in the Drug and Alcohol field.
