Spire Healthcare Community & Relationship Manager – Spire Perth Clinic
Full-Time Salaried Position | 37.5 Hours per Week | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Spire Healthcare is expanding into Perth, Scotland, launching its newest outpatient and diagnostic clinic in late 2026 or early 2027. As one of the UK’s leading independent private healthcare providers—operating 38 hospitals and eight clinics across England, Wales, and Scotland—we’re recruiting a Community & Relationship Manager to establish our Perth Clinic as a trusted local healthcare destination through strategic partnerships and proactive community engagement.
About Spire Clinics
Our Spire Clinics specialise in low-risk outpatient and day-case treatments under local anaesthesia, delivering faster access to care for procedures in:
- Ophthalmology
- Dermatology
- Gynaecology
- Orthopaedics
The role will be based at the new Perth Clinic, a key part of Spire’s regional expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Build trusted relationships with Perth, Fife, Dundee and Central/Northern Scotland to position Spire Perth Clinic as the regional healthcare provider of choice.
- Partner with local businesses, corporate entities, gyms, physiotherapists, and wellbeing providers to generate referrals and awareness.
- Represent Spire at networking events, community forums, and business gatherings as a brand ambassador.
Marketing & Programming
- Develop and execute a community-focused activity programme, including:
- Patient education evenings and consultant-led talks
- Public health and wellness campaigns
- Collaborative events (e.g., cross-sector health initiatives)
- Generate localised marketing content to support PR opportunities and social media storytelling, in alignment with Spire’s central marketing and Hub leads.
- Assist with promotion of consultants/clinic specialties via grassroots engagement.

Referral & Business Growth
- Strengthen relationships with local GPs, physiotherapists, and primary care networks to drive referrals and primary care integration.
- Contribute to Perth’s growth strategy by working closely with commercial, operational, and marketing teams to deliver business objectives.
- Utilise local intelligence and insights to inform growth plans and commercial decision-making.
Operational Support
- Act as a visible, proactive spokesperson for the clinic, championing continuous improvement.
- Support additional business development initiatives across Spire’s Scottish Hub, as required.
Person Specification & Skills
Essential
- Proven understanding of the UK private healthcare system (referrals, patient journeys, provider dynamics).
- Strong commercial awareness, with track record in business development or healthcare marketing.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organisation and time management, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently.
- Competency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare marketing, corporate partnerships, or business development.
- Demonstrated passion for community engagement and social impact initiatives.
- Technical skills in marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) or social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram).
