We are currently recruiting caring, reliable and committed individuals to join our growing team as Full-Time Community Care Assistants.
Due to the nature of intimate personal care provided, this position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the genuine occupational requirement provisions of the Equality Act 2010.
About the Role
As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals within their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make a real difference, helping people remain independent whilst receiving the support they need with dignity and respect.
You will work as part of a supportive, professional team delivering care tailored to each individual's needs, preferences and lifestyle.
This is a full-time contracted position, with work available across:
- Morning shifts
- Lunchtime visits
- Tea time & Evening shifts
- Emergency cover calls where required
Guaranteed contracted hours are available for successful applicants.

- Swadlincote
- Linton
- Overseal
- Woodville
- Newhall
- Midway
- Church Gresley
- Castle Gresley
- Hartshorne
Where possible, care rounds are allocated geographically to minimise travel time and support a positive work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Supporting mobility, transfers and safe movement around the home
- Assisting with medication administration in accordance with training and company procedures
- Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Supporting individuals living with dementia and other complex care needs
- Carrying out light housekeeping and domestic duties
- Maintaining accurate electronic care records in accordance with GDPR requirements
- Reporting safeguarding concerns or changes in wellbeing promptly
- Delivering care in line with individual care plans and Bradcare's quality standards

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010)
- Right to work in the UK
- Availability to work a mixture of mornings, lunchtimes, evenings and emergency cover calls
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, dependable and professional approach
- A genuine passion for helping people live independently and with dignity
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.
If you are new to care, full training, ongoing support and mentoring will be provided. We recruit for values, compassion and commitment as much as experience.
