Types of positions available: Permanent (both full-time and part-time).


Working Patterns

Due to the demanding nature of the care work, shifts are:

  • Mornings: 7am - 3pm
  • Evenings: 3pm - 10pm
  • Alternative weekends (flexibility to work a minimum of at least 2 evening shifts per week is required).

Responsibilities

As a Home Care Worker, you’ll play an invaluable role in empowering and supporting vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives within their own homes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping service users overcome mobility challenges, physical disabilities, and providing care for aids/adaptations and personal equipment.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks:
    • Making and changing beds
    • Tidying rooms
    • Light cleaning
    • Laundry
    • Emptying commodes
  • Supporting with personal care, such as:
    • Assisting with washing and bathing
    • Toileting arrangements
  • Preparing and serving meals and snacks, providing assistance for eating and drinking when necessary.
  • Supporting with medication preparation and administration as needed.
  • Contributing to end-of-life care when required.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, the following are essential:

  • Right to work within the UK
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for this role)
  • No previous experience necessary — though you must demonstrate:
    • Authentic compassion and commitment
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to problem solve effectively
    • Pledge to deliver top-tier, respectful care
