You’ll be supported from day one by a friendly local team, with flexible hours to fit around your lifestyle and opportunities to grow your career in care. Many of our full-time carers earn £28,000+ per year.

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Competitive pay of £13.50–£15.50 per hour depending on when you work
  • Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement, including travel from home (after 10 miles)

  • 28 days’ paid holiday (pro-rata)

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Community Carer, you’ll support people across Plymouth and the surrounding communities by:

  • Helping with daily routines, including personal care and medication
  • Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Building trusted relationships with the people you care for
  • Helping individuals remain independent in their own homes
