Based Warwickshire Wide

South Warwickshire Foundation Trust - Women & Children’s Division.

We are seeking highly skilled nurses with a strong clinical background in children and young people’s care. The post holder must have excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills. You must have the ability to work, autonomously and in a team and be flexible in working shifts including night duties and weekends to ensure the service is covered.

The post holder will need to be dynamic, innovative, forward thinking and be confident to sensitively challenge conventional thinking.

The post holder will work with an established award winning innovative team, across Warwickshire.

The post holder will initiate, influence, develop and deliver effective care practices in response to the child, young person and their family’s needs. They will be expected to also develop their skills at being competent in caring for Children and Young People who have technological needs such as requiring ventilation. This will ensure that the service that is delivered, is holistic, safe, effective, trusted and compassionate.

To promote and sustain the independence of children & young people (CYP) with a range of complex healthcare needs by delivering skilled nursing care within the community in a variety of settings.

To undertake assessments of care, develop, implement and evaluate care programmes, in partnership with the child, young person and their family. To carry out managerial responsibilities for an identified caseload and skill mix of staff.
