About us:
ADDvanced Solutions Community Network CIC is an open-access offer that supports the emotional health and wellbeing of neurodivergent children and young people, their families, and the professionals who work with them.
The Role:
Opportunity to engage, educate, equip, and empower neurodiverse families as well as the professionals who support them through the planning, delivery and development of quality assured, evidence-based informal and structured learning opportunities and enrichment activities. Join a dynamic, supportive, and growing team working across Cheshire and Merseyside, offering practical, solution-focused information, advice, and guidance via email, telephone, face-to-face and online. Working predominantly with parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people, with or without any formal diagnosis, presenting with needs associated with neurodiversity, including ADHD, autism, sensory processing difficulties, specific learning difficulties, SEND and associated mental health needs. Develop relationships and build partnerships with supporting professionals, schools and agencies to strengthen, build and promote the offer to families. Work flexibly and collaboratively with all team members supporting the ongoing design, development, and delivery of our offer. As a Community Interest Company and a commissioned provider to the NHS and some local authorities, we are recruiting to support the development of the organisation.

- possess a recognised qualification in teaching (minimum Teaching and Learning Level 3), information, advice and guidance and/or coaching and mentoring, parent/carer, family, community work or a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate experience and ability in supporting neurodiverse families.
- have excellent communication and strong facilitation skills with the ability to manage the needs of a wide range of people, promoting an inclusive and supportive environment and experience for all.
- bring wide-ranging/extensive knowledge and understanding of the needs of, and challenges faced by, neurodivergent children, young people and their families, including needs associated with autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, specific learning difficulties, SEND and associated mental health needs.
- have a genuine insight into the impact on family life, education and social inclusion and emotional wellbeing.
- demonstrate an ability to deliver engaging opportunities for families to participate, learn, build confidence and resilience encouraging and supporting them to achieve their goals.
- be skilled and experienced in researching, designing, developing and delivering learning opportunities, training events/workshops and facilitating group work (online and face-to-face) for neurodiverse children, young people and families and for the professionals who support them.
- possess strong planning, organisation, and time management skills; able to work both independently and closely with the rest of the team with a resourceful, and confidential approach.
- be familiar with Microsoft programmes, particularly Outlook, Teams and Powerpoint.
- hold a clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently across Cheshire and Merseyside, predominantly across Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, Warrington and Wirral, working within the community.
- be able to work flexibly to accommodate preplanned evening and occasional weekend work.

Working across communities and from our office (currently in Speke), hours may include some evening and weekend working to deliver learning activities, and attend events.
Salary - competitive plus Employee Assistance Programme. 25 days holiday.
