Community Engagement Volunteer – Northeast Derbyshire Availability: Around 2 - 3 hours per month, completely flexible to suit you Locations: Primarily Northeast Derbyshire with flexibility for your preferred area Help make a difference in your local community. Are you passionate about connecting people with vital support? Join us as a Community Engagement Volunteer and play a key role in raising awareness of Marie Curie’s services for people living with terminal illness and their families. This is a flexible, independent role where you’ll represent Marie Curie at community events, health practices, and other local venues – helping ensure support is visible and accessible to those who need it most. What you’ll do: Share Marie Curie information and resources in your community Signpost people to our webpages, support lines, and services Chat with members of the public and answer basic questions Spot new opportunities to raise awareness locally Why you’d be a great fit: Friendly, and bring a positive attitude Comfortable talking to people from all walks of life Like to be organised Happy to engage independently in tasks and happy to collaborate with others Driving is helpful but not essential What you’ll gain: A chance to make a real difference locally Training and ongoing support from our team Recognition for your time and effort Expenses paid for travel and other costs Access to discounts on shopping, travel, and more Perks: Travel and Expenses reimbursed Access to discounts on Shopping, dining, travel and more Ready to make a difference?
