Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We currently have employees working across four nations in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Job Summary
We're looking for an excited and proactive Community Fundraising Officer to help support people across the UK to raise vital funds for Bowel Cancer UK. As part of our ambitious and growing Community Fundraising team, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities that generate more than £1.3 million each year in support of our mission.

The Community Fundraising Officer will play a key role in developing and delivering a diverse portfolio of fundraising products and campaigns, including:
- Do-It-Yourself fundraising
- Own Place Runs
- Celebration and In-Memory giving
- Popular community initiatives such as our knitting challenge and Christmas appeals
We're looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, creating engaging supporter experiences and delivering excellent communications. With strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach, you'll work closely with the Senior Community Fundraising Officer to analyse performance, use supporter insights and identify opportunities to enhance fundraising activities and improve supporter retention.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Senior Community Fundraising Officer, you'll work closely with colleagues across the Mass Supporter Giving, Marketing and Communications, Data and IT, and Finance teams, as well as external agency partners, to achieve shared goals and deliver outstanding fundraising experiences.
