Position: Community Fundraising Volunteer
Salary: Voluntary
Hours: 1-2 days per week
Location: Welwyn Garden City or remote
Role Description
Join Willow as a Community Fundraising Volunteer and play a crucial role in supporting our Supporter Fundraising team. You will help us bring the core values of Willow into the community through local events, special talks, and presentations aimed at attracting new supporters.
What’s involved?
- Engaging with Local Community: Regularly, as opportunities arise in the local area.
- Creating Long-lasting Relationships: Ongoing, focusing on building and maintaining supporter connections.
- Identifying Opportunities: Continuously monitor both local and national environments for potential support opportunities.
- Presenting Willow Content: Periodically, as scheduled with small groups or at specific events.
- Researching Fundraising Trends: Regularly, with guidance and support from the team.
- Supporting Willow Events: Throughout the year, based on event schedules and volunteer availability.
- Acting as a Willow Representative: Consistently, maintaining high standards and upholding Willow’s core values in all interactions.

How Long And How Often
We are looking for a volunteer to offer support, committing up to a few hours a week.
Location: Welwyn Garden City (Head Office) & nationally as and when required
The Role Will Suit You If You Are
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about promoting charitable causes and making a difference in the lives of seriously ill young adults. You should enjoy engaging with diverse community members, building lasting relationships, and presenting the mission of Willow to small groups. Training will be provided to support you in effectively representing Willow and maintaining our core values during engagements.

Your support will enable our Community Fundraising team to expand our reach, boosting donations, sales, and overall support for Willow across local and national levels. Ultimately, your efforts will ensure Willow can continue providing special days, treats, and breaks to seriously ill young adults.
